Denim Darling Hat Co. started the way most great things do — with a vision and a creative spirit that doesn't quiet down. What began as a love of handcrafting one-of-a-kind hats for friends and family quickly became something more: a business rooted in the belief that what you wear should tell your story.
Hi, I'm Jess.
I'm the founder, maker, and creative behind every single piece that leaves Denim Darling Hat Co. — and honestly, this business started with a trip, a hat, and a moment I didn't expect to love as much as I did.
While traveling, I stumbled into a 1:1 hat making experience and was completely excited — not just by the hat I walked away with, but by the process of creating something that was entirely, uniquely mine. As someone who believes deeply that great accessories make an outfit and that bold fashion choices are one of the most fun forms of self-expression, I was hooked. I came home and couldn't stop thinking about how to bring that experience to the women in my life.
That's how Denim Darling Hat Co. was born — out of a love of fashion, a passion for handcrafted quality, and a genuine belief that confidence and creativity go hand in hand.
And then something unexpected happened at my first hat making party: women who hadn't seen each other in years reconnected over a hat band decision. New friendships formed over charm selections. Laughter filled the room. The hats were beautiful — but the connection was the real magic. That's what keeps me doing this.
